State Committee Says that Russia Making Alterations to Known Order on Migrants Has its Objects to Lighten Work of State Agencies

Shakir Salimov, the Chief of the Department of the State Committee for Affairs with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad informed Trend that alterations were made to the order on migrants illegally living and working in Russia, which has been signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, and it has objects to lighten the work of Russian state agencies.

Some alterations have been recently made to the order of the Russian President on deportation of illegal migrants from the country and deprivation from their trade activity. According to the changes, migrants engaged in trade on the territory of Russia can continue their activity only in Russian region where they obtained official permission. To engage in the commercial activity in other Russian regions and cities is prohibited. According to Mr. Salimov, the Russian Government made the decision to lighten the work of the state agencies.

The representative of the Committee also said that none of Azerbaijan citizens have been deported from Russia. Mr. Salimov also said that they regularly get in touch with Russia. No problem connected with our compatriots have been observed yet.
