Azer Taghiyev, the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Collegium of Lawyers has told Trend that he will visit Hungary to establish relations between the Azerbaijan Collegium of Lawyers and Hungarian one.

He said that even though the above-mentioned issue is the key one in the forthcoming visit to Hungary scheduled for January 15, he also intends to meet Ramil Safarov, an Azerbaijan officer kept in the Budapest Prison. Notably, for murdering an Armenian officer, on April 13, 2006, the Azerbaijani officer was sentenced to life imprisonment. Ikram Shirinov will carry out preparatory works for a judiciary sitting on an appeal complaint made by Ramil Safarov. The main aim of my visit is to establish relations between the Coleguims of Lawyers of the two countries, as well as hold meetings with number of officials in this connection. If I pay a visit to this country on the threshold of the consideration of the appeal made by Ramil Safarov, I shall certainly have an opportunity to meet with his Hungarian lawyer, he said.
