ECU Executive Committee Discussed Over 40 Issues in Baku

About forty issues have been discussed by the Executive Committee of ECU (European Chess Committee) as results of its calendar sitting being completed in Baku today.

Mahir Mammadov, the Vice-President of the Azerbaijan National Chess Federation has told Trend that during the meeting, the delegates approved the calendar of the tournaments of the current and next years, determining the cities which will host the forthcoming large-scale tournaments. Particularly, European Team Championship 2007 will be held in Crete, and Novi Sad will host it in two years. Europe Championship Private 2007 will be held in Dresden, while the European Cup among juveniles will be held in Croatia.
