The meeting of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly Committee on Culture, Science and Education took place within the PACE winter session. The member of the Azerbaijan delegation to PACE, MP Rafael Huseynov, informed Trend that his report entitled European criteria of education and journalism experience was heard at the meeting.
He said that the discussions over the document were completed and he was appointed as rapporteur on this question. This report is expected to be discussed at the spring or summer session of the PACE, he said. Huseynov said that this report was widely discussed at the meeting of the PACE Ad Hoc Committee on Press on November 29-30, 2006 in Baku.
