Training on TV documentation is being held for students and graduates of journalism departments of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia in Tbilisi under the project of regional media of South Caucasus.
The project Master TV documentation was conceived by Internews, Internews Azerbaijan and Internews Armenia with financial support from the Eurasia Fund. The training brings together 42 participants (14 representatives from each country).
Selection of the participants took place in December 2006 from competitions held in the three countries, a Trend Special Correspondent in Tbilisi reports. The project envisages the intensive mutual co-operation of young journalists and students of the countries of South Caucasus. Joint creative groups will be created during training. The groups will prepare short documentary films until September 2007. A festival of the films (in the main 21 films will be presented) will take place in September 2007. In addition to the festival, discussions and master-classes will be held.
