The Commissioner on human Rights of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman), Elmira Suleymanova, exclusively informed Trend that she plans to make a visit to Moscow on February 4, 2007 to study the situation with the problems of the Azerbaijanis residing in Russia, which have emerged due to the application of the new law on migration in Russia.
During the visit, Suleymanova will get familiarized with the situation of protection of rights of the Azerbaijanis who temporarily live in the territory of Russian Federation, hold meeting in relevant state bodies and discuss with the senior officials of the Government of Russia the ways of resolving the problems of the Azerbaijanis.
