The delegation of the World Health Organization (WHO) will arrive to Baku on February 7, 2007. The delegation includes the representative of the Department of Pharmacology and Deputy Head of European Regional Bureau of the WHO, Nata Menabde, Trend reports quoting WHO Baku Office.
The visit is aimed at participating at the international conference to fight with infringing medicines on February 8-9 in Baku. Within the visit, the WHO specialists plan to meet with a number of senior officials of state bodies of Azerbaijan. The conference is aimed at mobilizing the forces to attract the attention of the community to the serious problems such as infringing medicines and preventing them under the participation of the international organizations.
