Ramiz Rzayev, the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Supreme Court, informed Trend that Azerbaijan local courts virtually do not use practice of citizens' putting a deposit for the damage caused by them.
According to him, he is an adherent of taking more loose and soft measures in those cases where the severity of a decision of the court cannot solve the issue of the both parties. However, one cannot interfere in the courts' making decisions.
It would be better if deprivation of liberty were not applied toward those citizens who put a deposit, said the Chairman of the Superior Court of the Country.
