The Health Minister of Azerbaijan, Oktay Shiraliyev, said that from 2007, the assistance to the oncological patients in Azerbaijan should be provided free of charge on the base of the State Program on Measures to Provide Oncological Patients with Significant Medicines, Trend reports. According to him, this work is carried out by the National Oncological Center.
For the city inhabitants, this assistance will be provided in city polyclinics and the inhabitants of the Azerbaijani regions may appeal to the National Oncological Center, the Minister said.
