Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr K. Zarbaliyeva / On March 1, a preparatory sitting on the case of journalists Rafig Taghi and Samir Sadagatoghlu, the editor-in-chief of Sanat Gazeti, has been held at the Nasimi District Court presided by judge Mammadali Zulfinarov.
It was reported in the court that Taghivev aimed to make a contract with an attorney Isakhan Ashurov in order to protect his rights. Due to it, the preparatory sitting has been postponed till March 5.
Ashurov acted as an attorney for Sadaghatoglu during the preparatory sittings. Taghi and Sadaghatoglu are being accused according to Article 283 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan Republic (spreading national, racial, social and religious hatred)
