K.Zarbaliyeva / The advocates of the Armenian army's officer Gurgen Markayan, intends to make civil law suit against the Azerbaijan Army's officer, Ramil Safarov, who has been sentenced to the life-imprisonment according to the decision of Budapest City Court dared 13 April 2006, the advocates of Markayan said after the decision of the Appeal Court of Budapest. They want to express their wish on payment of $500.000 contribution by Safarov.
Azerbaijani advocate Ikram Shirinov said that the efforts of the Armenians are not a random case. This step aims to prevent any decisions that may soften the conditions of Safarov. Advocate said that the Armenian side has not raised law suit preventing Safarov's extradition to Azerbaijan.
Shirinov said that after receiving the decision of the Budapest City Appeal Court dated 22 February, they will send a cassation complaint to the Budapest Supreme Court. If the Court makes an unfair decision, Shirinov will appeal to the European Court on Human Rights.
