Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr S.Babayeva / On 13 March the Azerbaijani Health Minister, Ogtay Shiraliyev, met with the General-Secretary of the German health network VIVANTES, Andreas Ebert and Andreas Schmidt, the Company Director for the northern region.
The delegates announced that they have developed a bilateral memorandum on co-operation and noted the opportunities to commence positive work in this direction. The German specialists voiced their interests in the co-operation with the Azerbaijan Government.
Ebert said that within the framework of co-operation, 100 doctors can be offered training in Germany, patients can be offered medical treatment in Germany at privileged conditions and German specialists can offer consultations to Azerbaijan relating to health and organization.
The Minister responded that they would consider all proposals presented by the specialists of VIVANTES.
