Akif Ali, the Head of the Press Service of the Azerbaijani Cabinet, reported that in accordance with the Cabinet's decree on 17 March, 1997 regarding summer-time in Azerbaijan, the clocks are usually put back one hour on the last Sunday of March. This year the last Sunday falls on 25 March.
