Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / On 28 March, the Court on Heinous Crimes of Azerbaijan chaired by Judge Sadraddin Hajiyev has once again postponed the preparatory hearings of the President of Barmek-Azerbaijan, Huseyn Arabul and 7 of its employees. The preparatory session has now been scheduled for 29 March, due to the fact that one of the defence lawyers is participating in another court session.
The investigation revealed that employees of Barmek misappropriated AZN 9,143,940 from consumers.
The President of the Company, Huseyn Arabul, is accused, in accordance with Article 179.3.2 (appropriation and dissipation), Article 308.2 (misuse of authorities) and Article 313 (service falsification) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The employees of Barmek-Azerbaijan, Vice President, Omer Guner Ismayl, Director of Technical Department, Vafa Agayev, former General Manager, Chingiz Ibadov and others are accused of Article 179.3.2 and Article 313 of the Criminal Code.
