Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S.Babayeva / The joint meeting of the Pharmacological Experts Council with the Innovations and Supply Center of the Health Ministry of the Country had been held at the Azerbaijan Health Ministry, a source in the Press Service of the Ministry has told Trend. The event focused its attention on the observance of the law on pharmacological activities.
Elsavar Aghayev, the Deputy Azerbaijan's Health Ministr considers that the control over the medicines should be intensified.
The participants touched upon the issue on the necessity of preparation of medicines' instructions in Azerbaijani , and came to conclusion that it was impossible to solve shortly
Vaheed Naghiyev, the Head of the Centre for Innovation and Procurement, said that as a result of spot-checks, it was revealed that many drugstores chemist's shops used significant number of prescribed lists, which had nothing to do with state patient care institutions. According to him, the design of the state prescribed lists is currently under preparation.
Mr. Aghayev noted that in case of necessity, the matter would be handed over to the law enforcement bodies.
