Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Ilhamghizi / Aflatun Amashev, the chairman of the Azerbaijani Press Council, reported that it will submit the Draft Law on Governmental Assistance for Development of Press to the Presidential Apparat.
Amashev noted that the document had been developed by the Press Council. A conference dedicated to public discussion of the draft law will be held in Baku on April 6th. Officials, experts, and media leaders are expected to attend the event. "Final discussions on the bill, which provides for governmental assistance, will be held. After taking into consideration the proposals voiced at the meeting, the final document will be submitted to the Presidential Apparat," Amashev added.
