Azerbaijan and Turkey Sign Protocol on TV and Radio Co-operation

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / The Chairman of the Head Radio and TV Department of Turkey, Zahid Akman and Chairman of the National TV and Radio Council of Azerbaijan, Nushiravan Maharramli, signed a Co-operation Protocol. After signing ceremony, Akman stated that such documents further develop Azerbaijani-Turkish relations and strengthen co-operation. Maharramli informed of the activities of the Radio and TV Council. He stressed that the Council has provided licenses for the broadcasting of 6 republic, 14 regional and 11 cable TVs in Azerbaijan. The State budget has allocated AZN 522000 to the Council.

The co-operation protocol between Azerbaijan and Turkey envisages developing co-operation with regards to broadcasting, exchanging experience, products and staffs, holding joint events, etc.
