Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend Z.Safarov / Aliya Garayeva, an Azerbaijani gymnast, won two gold medals, one silver and a bronze medal in the national championships held at the Olympic Sports Complex.
A winner at the recent Grand-Prix in Moscow performed the best composition with skipping-ropes and clubs, whereas her performance with ribbons was placed second, while her exercise on curbing of hoops won her the bronze. Anna Gurbanova won the gold medal for exercises with the hoop and Dinara Gimatova was the best with ribbons. The latter was the all-round winner in the competition a day earlier.
At the end of the championships a traditional gala concert was enacted with the participation of the country's best gymnasts.
