Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / Between January and March 2007, nearly 131 kg of various narcotic have been taken out of circulation. Nearly 775 crimes have been noted in connection with the illegal turnover of narcotics. Last year, 19,704 drug addicts were recorded in Azerbaijan including 487 youths, 308 women and 11 underage people. It was stated at a joint press-conference of the Sabail District Executive Power and the State Commission for the Fight against Drugs that over the reported period, 32 cases of the illegal turnover of narcotics were discovered in the territory of Sabail.
