JLO's husband to pay 2.5 million dollars as back taxes

( news.sawf.org ) - JLO's husband, Puerto Rican-American singer-songwriter Mark Anthony has managed to escape criminal prosecution, by agreeing to pay back 2.5 million dollars in back taxes. The 'I Need You' singer and two others, who work in Ari Enterprises, Ltd., Bolero Records, Ltd., and Marc Anthony Productions, Inc., all of which are controlled by Anthony reportedly failed to pay their taxes.

According to the New York County District Attorney, the three "failed to file New York State and City corporate tax returns and pay their respective tax liabilities," reports TMZ. Anthony, whose real name is Marco Antonio Muniz, and his colleagues will pay the debt by 31st May, or else will have to face additional penalties. The singer, who is popular for his salsa music and salsa monga ballads married Lopez in 2004, after his divorce from former Miss Universe, Dayanara Torres.
