Evidence Provided by Policeman Accused of Beating Azerbaijani Journalist
Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. K.Zarbaliyeva / On 2 May evidence was provided by the employee of Yasamal District Police Department, Nabi Rajabov, who is accused of beating the Department Chief of Gundelik Azerbaijan newspaper , Uzeyir Jafarov.
The Investigator of the Police Department, Rafig Aliyev, did not disclose the evidence provided by Rajabov because of the court situation.
On 20 April Uzeyir Jafarov had been beaten by unknown persons while leaving the building of the newspaper. He had been placed in the Medical Clinic Center.
