Control Has Been Tightened on religious Books Imported into Azerbaijan: Chairman of State Committee
Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / The Head of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, Aydin Aliyev, said on 10 May that control has been tightened on religious books being imported into Azerbaijan.
According to him, the imported religious books are kept in the customs checkpoints and sent to the State Committee on Work with Religious Organizations for examination. Only after permission has been granted from the Committee can the religious books are to be imported into the Country. According to the information provided by the State Committee on Work with Religious Organizations, at present statistic data is being prepared with regards to the religious literature imported into Azerbaijan.
