Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. E.Huseynli / Elchin Behbudov, the chairman of Azerbaijan Anti-Torture Committee, reported on 12 May that he had met with Ali Insanov, the former Azerbaijani Healthcare Minister, Eynulla Fatullayev, the chief editor of Gundalik Azerbaijan newspaper, and Samir Sadagatoglu, the chief editor of Sanat newspaper, kept in Bayil Isolation Cell 1 of Azerbaijan.
According to Behbudov, Fatullayev complained of impossibility to read newspapers and poor living conditions in prison. Insanov also complained that he had not access to media and despite the medical examination he still suffered pains in his back.
Sadatogli contended that he was not guilty.
Behbudov is going to appeal to the Ministry of Justice due to the complaints.
