Lindsay Lohan accused of stealing
( news.sawf.org ) - A woman who accused actress Lindsay Lohan of stealing clothes from her home turns out made a bogus felony theft complaint with the L.A. county police. Eonline.com reports, the Los Angeles county District Attorney's office rejected the woman's complaint citing insufficient evidence and several holes in the alleged story.
The complaint alleged Lohan was invited to the woman's apartment while she was away by a housesitter and was seen taking with her several clear bags of clothing out of the apartment. To support her story the 'victim' presented paparazzi photos supposedly showing Lohan wearing her stolen garments.
It was later found that the photos were taken a week before the alleged robbery took place. The housesitter defended the Georgia Rule actress by stating the items in question were actually hers and for Lohan to take.
Lohan was previously accused of stealing Kelly Osbourne's handbag after she had lost it at a GQ magazine party in LA in April. In Touch magazine confirmed later that Lohan however, had nothing to do with Kelly's loss and actually helped her look for it.
