Quaid's representative, Lisa Kasteler, confirmed the couple - who were married on July 4, 2004 - are the twins' biological parents. No other details about the woman who is carrying the couple's babies have been released.
Texas real estate agent Kimberley, 35, was introduced to 'The Day After Tomorrow' star through a mutual friend in March 2003.
The actor already has a 15-year-old son, Jack Henry, with his actress ex-wife Meg Ryan. The couple divorced after 10 years in 2001.
