Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. E.Mammadov / The water level in the Kur River, running via the Salyan region, dropped by 55cm during four days.
Currently the water in the river is traveling at 1.400 cu m per second. Several days prior, it was 1.800 cu m per second. Despite the drop in the level of sewerage, the threat of diseases has become very relevant due to the heat and unsanitary conditions in the region. There are also problems with drinking water in the region.
According to Alipasha Abdullayev, the representative of the Salyan region Executive Power, the problem will be solved within the next few days.
