Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. E.Javadova / Ismayil Mansimov, the former adviser of Farhad Aliyev, the former Azerbaijani Minister of Economic Development, gave evidence during the hearings on Farhad Aliyev, his brother Rafig Aliyev, the former president of Azpetrol petrol company and 17 defendants, held under the chairmanship of Judge Tofig Pashayev at the Court of Serious Crimes.
Mansimov is accused in accordance with 7 articles of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.
Through his evidences Mansimov confirmed his participation in rendering assistance to Farhad Aliyev to develop false documents for illegal privatization of 57 facilities, participation in division of monthly allowances of illegal benefits of Farhad Aliyev among the officials of the Ministry. The amount of allowances ranging from $100 to $2,000 due to position of the officials.
The evidence of Agali Ahmadov, the former director of the Republican Auction Center, was heard during the hearings. Ahmadov confirmed the charge of the prosecutor in compliance with which Elchin Nadirov, the former director of the Department at the Ministry of Economic Development, delivered the message of the Ministry to distribute $2 among citizens instead of vouchers.
