Azerbaijan, Lankaran / Тrend corr P. Aliyeva / By the initiative of the Canadian-Azerbaijani Friendship Group, the Canadian Diabetes Association has rendered humanitarian assistance to children suffering from diabetes in the Lankaran region of Azerbaijan, including medicaments (high-quality insulin) in the amount of $2,000.
By the end of the year, the Diabetes Association will implement another humanitarian action in this regard.
The Lankaran region, with a population of 201,500 people (51.2% of women, 48.8% of men), is situated 268 km south of Baku.
