Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. K.Zarbaliyeva / For the last two years, the Azerbaijani Juridical Council received seventy-seven disciplinary cases against numerous judges in the country.
The cases of fifty-six judges were investigated and different punishments were applied against them, whilst the two Judges were deprived of their duties.
During the latest meeting, at the Juridical Council, the investigation into the corrupt judges has already begun. In addition to this case the, the Juridical Council has decided to degrade Javanshir Mammadov, Bahram Shukurov and Salman Babayev, the Judges of the Azerbaijani Appeal Court, from their duties for breaking the law while being active judges.
Against Allahveran Hasanov, the Judge of the same Court, Shovkat Najafova, the Judge of the Surakhani District Court and Husein Huseinov, the Judge of the Nizami District Court were pronounced to be dealt with.
