Azerbaijani Constitutional Court Holds Juridical Contest of ‘Constitution, Personality and Jural State’

Azerbaijan, Baku / Т corr K. Zarbaliyeva / The Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan Republic is holding a juridical contest on the topic of 'Constitution, Personality and Jural State'.

The purpose of the contest is to check and improve the level of juridical knowledge among youth. The contest will also provide conditions for informing of the main items of the Constitution, particularly of the Articles providing for human rights and freedom. The event will improve the knowledge of importance of the principles of Constitutional control, legislative documents, as well as will liven up the participation of the young in the formation of a state.

The first round of the contest dedicated to purposes, duties, content and organization of the contest took place on 12 June. Questions from the participants of the contest from five higher and 1ten secondary schools were replied. The participants were given two months for preparation for the contest and were provided with the necessary juridical literature. The winners of the contest will be decided by the jury including five judges from the Constitutional Court. They will be awarded on 12 November (Constitution Day).
