Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend / The Azerbaijani Health Ministry reported that the arrangements on discussion of the National Program on Struggle against Tuberculosis would be held in the Masalli town.
The arrangements will be held on 25-26 June with participation of heads of Azerbaijani Health Department of 16 South regions, doctors of T.B. prophylactic centre, phthisiatrician and bacteriologist. Some 80 people will attend the arrangement.
The National program against Tuberculosis is developed for 2008-2010 and envisages reconstruction of material and technical bases of medical institutions, engaged in phthisiolog (department of medicine, studying cause of tuberculosis, pathological signs in human body, spreading reasons of disease and medical treatment) providing with upgrade equipments, liquidation of shortage of skilled personnel and reconstruction of five tuberculosis dispensaries in Baku in compliance with recommendation of the World Health Organization.
