Exams Held in Azerbaijan for State Vacancies

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend К.Zarbaliyeva / Exams were held in the Azerbaijani Architecture and Construction University for 200 vacancies to 15 State bodies on 23 June.

Some 796 candidates sat the exams instead of the 910 who applied for jobs in the State services.

Bahram Khalilov, the chairman of the Commission on State Services at the Presidential Offices of Azerbaijani Republic, stated in an interview with journalists that the candidates answered 100 questions in three hours. Candidates who score 80 or more points will go through to the next interview.

The results of the exams will be placed on the Azerbaijani State Commission on Student Admissions and the Commission on State Services of the Azerbaijan Republic websites.

Khalilov noted that candidates admitted to the State services for would be on probation for one year then a trial period of two years. As a result of the trial period the candidates will be appointed to permanent State services.

Khalilov said that the results of the examination were not satisfactory. During interviews held with candidates it was revealed that they had not been informed about the services they want to work.

The chairman of the commission recommended to the candidates that they seriously think about the State services.
