Britney tries to 'restrain' mum

(metro.co.uk) - Britney Spears has allegedly filed a restraining order against her mother to prevent her from visiting her two sons. Recent reports that mum and daughter are patching up their differences over the rehab debacle now look to be in tatters.

Spears allegedly visited her attorney last week and completed the paper work for an order, according to website X17Online.

It claims that the singer is raging at her mum, Lynne, because she visited her two sons, Sean Preston, 1, and nine-month-old, Jayden James, at her ex-husband Kevin Federline's home.

She is also angry that Lynne sided with Federline during their custody battle. The 25-year-old is reportedly claiming her mum is 'abusing prescription pain medication'. According to reports, the pop-tart first fell out with Lynne after blaming her for sending her to rehab in March to treat an 'alcohol addiction and post-natal depression'.

Earlier this month it looked like mum was back on side, meeting up with her daughter for the first time since her stay at the Promises rehab centre.

Lynne said after the meet up: 'Everything is going to be really good. I can see her life picking up and it's just going to hold great things for her.'

'Britney Jean Spears is the sweetest and the most sensitive and loving of all my children.' 'She's just figuring things out.'

But now it looks like the only thing Britney is figuring out is how to get rid of her mum. There was no comment today from Britney's representatives at Sony BMG. Meanwhile Britney continues to work on her comeback album which is due out in 2008. Next weekend she is set to join eighties pop star, Cyndi Lauper, on her True Colours tour to perform a duet at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre on June 30.
