Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. E.Javadova / The criminal trial involving Azerbaijan's former Minister of Economic Development, Farhad Aliyev, his brother Rafik Aliyev, former President of the Azpetrol Group of Companies, and seventeen other people, has been continued at the Court of Heinous Crimes presided by Judge Tofik Pashayev.
Pashayev stated during the hearings that some 700 victims has already gave evidence due to misappropriation of vouchers, assigned for distribution among veterans and disabled by President's decree from 2004. Later Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development's officials' evidences engaged in distribution vouchers were heard. They stated that instead of vouchers veterans and disabled received AZN 20,000 (old manats) from August to November 2004.
The criminal trial is continuing by evidences of witnesses.
