Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. К.Ramazanova / In 2007 sixty-five students and scientists of Azerbaijani Universities will receive scholarship for training in Germany within the framework of the DAAD program.
Per Stankina, German Ambassador to Azerbaijan, reported during scholarship presentation ceremony on 5 July that the exhibitioners of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will attend the program for the first time.
DAAD will allocate scholarship to 68 students and scientists for receiving education in German in 2008. DAAD is the largest company allocating scholarships to Azerbaijani students and scientists for training in Germany. Since 1997 the number of the scholarships has reached 400.
