Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr.К.Zarbaliyeva / The sentence was read against the Azerbaijani soldiers, charged with high treason, in the Court Martial on grave crimes.
The court has reported to the Trend information agency that Elchin Ahmadov, Agasalim Salimov and Ramin Mammadagayev were sentenced to 14, 12 and 13 years of imprisonment. The soldiers were captured by Armenians in 2006 in Goradiz village of Fizuli region.
After coming back to the military unit they did not informed the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan about their arresting. The soldiers crossed the Armenian border for several times and passed state and military secrets to Armenians from July to October. The soldiers were taken under control of the Azerbaijani National Security Ministry and were arrested on 11 January 2007.
