Turkish Authorities to Remove Visa System with Turkic Speaking Countries
Turkey is in preparation to remove the visa system in a one-sided order with Turkic speaking countries. According to Zaman newspaper published in Istanbul, the Turkish Foreign Minister, Abdullah Gul, stated that the corresponding decree had been developed and was ready to be submitted to the President for approval, Fergana cites.
After the decree is put into operation citizens of Turkic speaking countries, such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, will be able to travel freely to Turkey.
According to Gul, the issue was discussed a month ago together with the ambassadors of the aforementioned countries in Turkey. Gul mentioned that such a visa-less system was already active with Georgian, Saudi Arabian, and Kuwait citizens. " Turkey will become the second home for all Muslims and Turks," the Minister noted.
