Proposals Presented to Azerbaijan President on Appointment of 55 Judges

Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / The meeting of the Legal Council of Azerbaijan on 24 July covered the issue of candidatures of new judges. According to the information by the Council, of the one hundred candidates, fifty-five have been recognized. In this process, the proposals of the Election Committee of Judges have been considered with regards to the appointment of the candidates to the positions. During the meeting, the candidates' specializations were considered, and from there the Committee decided to submit relevant proposals to the State Head with regards to their selections for appointments. In addition, new members were elected to the Election Committee of Judges.
