The appeal will be reconsidered by a new composition of judges. The court trial on the appeal will be held on 13 August under the chairmanship of Judge Mirpasha Huseyinov with the participation of Judges, Rasul Safarov and Huseyin Talibov.
Ramella Allahverdiyeva was appointed judge to the Court of Grave Crimes of the Azerbaijan Republic.
The journalists are accused after an appeal was made by MP Jalal Aliyev, in compliance with Article 147.2 (slander to commit a grave crime) of the Criminal Code, and was sentenced to two years and six months imprisonment by the decision of the Yasamal District Court.
