International Human Rights Federation to be Established
Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr K. Zarbaliyeva / International Federation on Human Rights will be established. The decision was made at the meeting between Abdullah Buksur, the chairman of the Turkish human rights alliance, and the members of Azerbaijan monitoring group on human rights on 7 September. According to a member of the monitoring group, Saida Gojamanli, the establishment of the federation was initiated by Azerbaijani human rights activists. Along with Azerbaijan and Turkey the new organization will include Central Asian countries and Georgia.
The human rights situation in Azerbaijan, problems in this field, and the issues on joint cooperation were discussed at the meeting with Buksur.
