All owners of agricultural land in Uzbekistan will be registered, said Deputy Chairman of the State Statistics Committee Agzam Ikramov, speaking at the meeting of the international press club in Tashkent.
Currently, the number of farms in the country amounts to 4.5 million.
Ikramov said that such registration is to be held in a test mode in the Kibray district of the Tashkent region. The experience of a number of countries is being studied in this direction.
The State Statistics Committee is expected to have more data with the complete transition of business entities of Uzbekistan, the number of which reaches 500,000, to an electronic reporting form. In this regard, it is planned to equip the committee with modern servers, for which $ 4 million has been allocated in 2018-2020.
The State Statistics Committee, taking into account international recommendations, approved 30 improved statistical methods in 2017-2019.
In the period 2017-2021, the transition from the National System of Accounts-1993 to the National System of Accounts-2008 will be carried out.
