Trend:

The government of Uzbekistan has issued a resolution "On measures to provide additional support to grain processing enterprises and expand their export potential".

According to the document, business entities, regardless of their organizational and legal form, have received permission to export flour produced by processing the imported grain.

At the same time, as noted in the resolution, the volume of exports may not exceed 75 percent of the volume of grain imported by these entities.

From September 1, 2018, the procedure is introduced, according to which the taxable turnover based on the value added tax imposed on the products of grain processing enterprises is calculated on the basis of the volume of revenues, minus the cost of grain.

The grain processing enterprises engaged in the sale of grain, flour and bread are also exempted from payment of mandatory contributions to the state trust funds until January 1, 2019.

The grain products imported into the Republic of Uzbekistan are exempted from payment of customs duties (except for customs clearance fees) until January 1, 2020.
