Azerbaijan’s PulPal payment system has developed a crypto wallet, which is planned to be added to the system in the future, PulPal founder Emin Sultanov told Trend.
“At the moment, we do have a crypto wallet, but we're not introducing it due to lack of legislation in Azerbaijan on regulation of cryptocurrency operations," he said.
He noted that it is currently planned to launch the company's crypto wallet option in those countries where there is a demand for this and a legislative base has been formed.
In addition, talking about the company's development of a virtual wallet, he said that PulPal is trying to get away from this concept.
"We do not see ourselves as a company that simply accepts and makes payments. We also have scoring projects (credit worthiness system) in our plans,” Sultanov noted.
“We are going to start issuing loans and providing other banking products that payment systems can provide after a relevant decision is made in Azerbaijan at the legislative level,” Sultanov said.
