Azerbaijan reveals sales volume via Azexport website for 9M2021

The Azexport portal carried out export orders worth $367.6 million from January through September 2021, which is $94.8 million less than the same period last year, Trend reports citing the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) of Azerbaijan.

According to the review, the Azexport portal sold export orders worth $43.2 million in September of this year, which exceeds the figure for September 2020 by 30.9 percent, or $10.2 million.

It is noted that for 57 months of its activity, the Azexport portal has fulfilled orders for the supply of products from Azerbaijan to 145 countries of the world in the amount of $2.59 billion.

It is reported that the TOP-10 exported goods of the Azexport portal in September 2021 were as follows: cotton, persimmons, pomegranate juice, peeled hazelnuts, flour, fruit jam, butter, tobacco, motor oil, confectionery.

Azexport website (www.azexport.az) was created upon the order of the president ‘On the creation of a unified database of goods produced in Azerbaijan’ dated September 21, 2016.

The task of the portal, which is managed by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan, is to provide information on Azerbaijani-made goods. The website is an efficient platform for selling these goods both in foreign and local markets.
