BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 22. The value of products exported by Azerbaijan from January through February 2022 has increased, Trend reports citing a report of the State Customs Committee (SCC).
According to the committee, this figure amounted to over $5.9 billion, up by 2.14 times compared to the first two months of 2021 ($2.7 billion).
The share of the public sector in the exports amounted to $2.16 billion (36.19 percent of the total value), and over $3.7 billion (63.55 percent of the total value) fell on the private sector.
Besides, the share of individuals equaled $15.2 million (0.26 percent).
Totally, Azerbaijan exported 1,535 and imported 5,657 units of goods, having carried out foreign trade operations with 139 partner countries. Oil and petrochemicals, electricity, fruits and vegetables, as well as chemical products were the most exported goods in the first two months of this year.
