BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 22. The value of products imported by Azerbaijan from January through February 2022 grew, Trend reports citing a report by the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.
According to the committee, this figure amounted to over $1.9 billion, up by 22.36 percent compared to the first two months of 2021 ($1.6 billion).
The share of the public sector in the imports amounted to $308 million (15.62 percent of the total value), and over $1.4 billion (74.92 percent of the total value) fell on the private sector.
Besides, the share of individuals equaled $186.5 million (9.46 percent).
Totally, Azerbaijan exported 5,657 and imported 1,535 units of goods, having carried out foreign trade operations with 139 partner countries.
