BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 1. Azerbaijan's non-oil export amounted to $461.8 million and increased by $130.6 million, or 39.4 percent from January through February 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan told Trend.

According to the data, during the reporting period, the share of fruits and vegetables in non-oil exports amounted to $92.3 million (an increase of $21.9 million). Over the corresponding period, a nine-fold increase in exports of chemical products was recorded, aluminum and aluminum products - by 57.4 percent, cotton yarn - by 35.2 percent, ferrous metals and ferrous metals products - by 16.5 percent.

Cotton yarn ranked first in non-oil exports from January through February 2022.

The largest importers of Azerbaijani non-oil products in the reporting period were Turkey ($153.3 million), Russia ($119.1 million), Georgia ($28.1 million), Switzerland ($21 million) and Italy ($19.4 million).
