BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. Department of Marketing and Economic Operations of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) increased export of non-oil products by more than 3.1 times in 1Q2022, Trend reports citing "Export Review" of Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.
SOCAR became the leader of Azerbaijani state sector in non-oil exports during this period, the review says.
SOCAR's export of non-oil products amounted to $162.9 million from January through March 2022, which is $110.4 million more than the same period last year.
The public sector of Azerbaijan exported non-oil products worth $338.9 million during this period, which is $143.05 million more than in 1Q2021.
State-owned companies of Azerbaijan exported goods worth $195.85 million in 1Q2021.
