BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 14. The volume of turnover through new generation cash registers exceeded 8.4 billion manat ($4.9 billion) in Azerbaijan, from January through May 2022, which is 51.1 percent more than the same period last year, Trend reports with reference to the report of Azerbaijani State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
According to the report, 62,747 new generation cash registers have been installed in trade and service facilities as of today.
The installation of these devices is carried out stage by stage from the second quarter of 2019.
State Tax Service plans to complete the fourth stage of installation of new generation cash registers in trade and service facilities by December 31, 2022.
