BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 5. The export of leather goods from Türkiye increased by 21.9 percent in August 2022 compared to the same period the previous year up to $190.9 million, the Ministry of Trade of Türkiye told Turkic World, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported leather goods worth $1.3 billion from January through August 2022, which is 21.1 percent more than in the same period last year," the ministry said.
In addition, Türkiye exported leather goods worth $1.96 billion over the past 12 months (from August 2021 through August 2022).
